Description
5 Womanby Street is a broad and symmetrical two-storey building with a three-bay frontage that is cement rendered, featuring red brick dressings including quoins. The building has a slate roof. It has recessed and hornless 12-pane sash windows; the first-floor windows have blue brick sills, while the ground-floor windows, which have had the glazing bars removed from the lower sashes, feature cambered voussoir heads. The ground floor windows are set unusually high, possibly indicating a sizeable basement or designed to align with the lintel level of the tall central entrance. The entrance doorway has been widened, and above it is a further boarded loading door. There are no openings on the side or rear elevations.
