Description
3 Long Bridge Street is a three-storey building with a four-window facade made of glazed red brick and topped with a slate roof. The structure features freestone rusticated quoins, cill bands, and window cornices. At the top, there is a deep cornice made of polychromatic brick above a rope moulded band. The four-pane windows are slightly offset to the right and are framed with brick architraves that have stop-chamfered lambs. The second floor displays pedimented cornices, while the first floor has bracket cornices, both adorned with foliage ornament. Flanking each window are panels with inset glazed tiles that depict figures in a Pre-Raphaelite style, with pairs of these tiles on the first floor.
The ground floor retains original shop fronts featuring highly ornate fascias and foliage trails on the pilasters, which have round arched heads. The window colonnettes have foliage capitals, and there are panelled aprons along with splayed entrances that include half-glazed doors. Between the two shop fronts is a six-panel door, and at the right end, there is a boarded door beneath a round arched head with a keystone. The right gable end is constructed of brick.
