Description
Ceri Hill is a three-storey building with a four-window facade made of glazed red brick and topped with a slate roof. The exterior features freestone rusticated quoins, cill bands, and window cornices. At the top, there is a deep cornice of polychromatic brick above a rope moulded band. The four-pane windows are slightly offset to the right and have brick architraves with stop-chamfered lambs. The second floor has pedimented cornices, while the first floor features bracket cornices, both adorned with foliage ornament.
Each window is flanked by panels that contain inset glazed tiles depicting figures in the Pre-Raphaelite style, with pairs of tiles on the first floor. The ground floor retains original shop fronts that boast highly ornate fascias and foliage trails on the pilasters, which have round arched heads. The window colonnettes have foliage capitals, and there are panelled aprons along with splayed entrances that feature half-glazed doors.
Between the two shop fronts, there is a six-panel door, and at the right end, a boarded door sits under a round arched head with a keystone. The right gable end is made of brick.
