Description

The gates and gatepiers of Conway Road Methodist Church are made of rock-faced sandstone, featuring Bath stone and buff brick dressings, along with wrought iron gates. The piers are square and topped with moulded stone caps, which were originally adorned with lamps; the iron bases for these lamps still remain. The decorative wrought iron double gates are notable features. The original flanking railings were removed during World War II and have since been replaced with plain steel ones.
