Description
East Villa is a two-storey house with a cellar, dating from the 19th century. The front elevation features joint-lined stucco and consists of two bays, with a plinth at the base. The roof is slate and gabled, topped with a yellow stock brick stack located to the northwest, above a very wide external chimney breast that has roughcast cladding against the northwest gable end.
The house has 12-pane sash windows, with two on the first floor and one on the right side of the ground floor. Below the left-hand first floor window, there is a semi-circular doorway that is offset to the left. This doorway has a moulded architrave, an open pediment supported by pilasters with modillions, panelled reveals, and a five-panelled door featuring three tall panels above and two below, along with a fanlight that has tracery. The front garden is enclosed by a dwarf stone wall topped with modern iron railings. There is also a northwest rear wing.
