Description

The Ancient Druid is a two-storey house featuring a steeply-pitched slate roof with stone end stacks. The front elevation is rendered and consists of three bays, with chamfered quoins and twelve-pane sash windows. The upper floor windows have moulded architraves, and there is a square panel with relief carving of a heraldic griffin or dragon above all the window heads. The centre first-floor window is blocked. The central door opening is square-headed and has a flat hood supported by brackets; the door itself has four fielded panels in the upper half, along with a 19th-century half-glazed vestibule door. The windows flanking the doorway do not have architraves.
