Description

Bont Fawr Aqueduct is a large 4-bay structure made of rubble stone with carefully finished dressings. It features elliptical arches supported by wider tapering piers, which have stepped stone courses at the top against the arch spandrels. The abutments display similar details to the piers. Below the later parapet, there is a continuous band, and the parapet itself has blue-brick saddleback copings that flare out at the ends. The deck of the aqueduct is covered with tarmac.
