Description
The churchyard gates and railings, located to the southeast of the Church of St Cadoc, date from the 20th century. The spearhead wrought iron railings are set in concrete. The gates are positioned northeast of the church and feature two openwork piers. The front and backs of these piers have vertical bars on the lowest panels, followed by diagonal crosses, intersected half circles, and are topped with four scrolls that are joined under an urn. The double gates include dog-bars, and the top rails slope down to meet at the meeting rail. To the right, there is a short length of railings, while to the left, a longer length connects to approximately 11 meters of rubble wall. This wall has a broad ogee-arched recess on the churchyard side, constructed with rock-faced stone voussoirs and flanked by raised piers made of rock-faced stone topped with rock-faced pyramid caps.
