Description
66 Walter Road is a three-storey building with an attic, topped by a low parapet. It features a stucco exterior that is banded at the ground floor, a tiled roof, and gabled dormers. The windows include horned sash glazing, although the left house has a left-side casement window on the top floor. Some details of the adjacent No 67 are obscured due to its conversion into a restaurant.
The building has four bays, with the central two bays slightly projecting and articulated by pilasters that extend to form acroteria. Each bay on the second floor has paired square-headed windows set within an architrave. The first floor features a Venetian window, while the ground floor has a splayed bay window. The end bays have a second-floor window with an architrave, a first-floor window with an architrave and a pierced balcony, and the ground floor includes an entrance doorway with a moulded surround and cornice, topped by a rectangular overlight.
