Description
67 Walter Road is a three-storey building with an attic, dating from the 18th century. The building is stuccoed, with the ground floor banded to create visual emphasis. It has a tiled roof and gabled dormers, with horned sash windows throughout, although the left-hand house (L) has a casement window on the top floor. Some detailing is obscured due to its conversion into a restaurant.
The building is arranged with four bays, the central two of which slightly project and are articulated by pilasters that rise as acroteria. The second floor of each bay features paired, square-headed windows with architraves. The first floor has a Venetian window, and the ground floor a splayed bay window. The end bays have a second-floor window with an architrave, a first-floor window with an architrave and a pierced balcony and a ground-floor entrance doorway with a moulded surround and cornice, above which is a rectangular overlight.
