Description
The walls and railings surrounding St James's Church are constructed of dwarf stone, featuring snecked stonework and chamfered coping. The structure includes raised stone piers topped with triangular coping. Between these piers are cast iron posts adorned with pinnacles and curved stanchions, some of which bear the inscription "Thomas and Bath Swansea." The railings consist of sections with alternating pinnacles and compound double crosier shaped finials, although some railings have been removed to the northeast of the church. There are entrances with double cast-iron gates located to the south and northeast of the church, as well as entrances with single cast-iron gates at the east and west angles of the churchyard, and to the northwest of the church, all designed in a style that matches the railings.
