Description
Deva is a three-storey building with a basement and attic, featuring a stucco front divided into three and four windows, with pilaster strips at the ends and between. The ground floor is rusticated, and the building has a slate roof with wide bracket eaves and rubble chimney stacks. There are pitched roof dormers with bargeboards, and the windows are horned sash glazing. The end and central bays have full height splayed bay windows topped with cornices, and there is one window-box holder. The entrance is located to the left and has panelled reveals and doors beneath a traceried fanlight. The front is adorned with an overall cast-iron verandah supported by octagonal columns. The basement features a tripartite small pane sash window.
At the rear, there are small pane sash windows set in rubble, with a visible masonry joint that corresponds to the division on the front. The rear also includes cement render lean-tos and a cross range to the left.
