Description

The National Milk Bars Restaurant is a late Georgian building that has undergone Victorian and modern alterations. It is a three-storey structure with a two-window front on Terrace Road, featuring rendered walls and quoins. The glazing is asymmetrical due to a council lease renewal policy around 1900, which required the installation of bay windows. On the left side, there is a two-storey oriel window that is bowed and has small pane sash glazing with reeded colonnettes, while the right side features a polygonal oriel without glazing bars. Small pane sash windows are also present on the three-storey and attic gable end facing Corporation Street. The ground floor has been modernised.
