Description
19 Marine Terrace is a three-storey building with a basement and attic, featuring stucco fronts of varying widths. Nos 19 and 20 have two windows each, while No 18 is broader with three windows and a double front. The building has end pilaster strips, a cill band on the first floor, and a rusticated ground floor that is channelled for No 18. The roofs are slate, with modern roofing on No 20, and there are bracket eaves and cement render chimney stacks. The windows have horned sash glazing, and there are pitched roof dormers with bargeboards. Bay windows flank the central entrance of No 18 and are located to the left of the entrances of Nos 19 and 20. Cornices adorn the bays, and architraves frame the other windows. The porches are Victorian, half-glazed, and raised, featuring ornate ironwork parapets, with No 18 displaying coloured glass. The entrance to No 18 has a half-glazed door, while Nos 19 and 20 have six-panel doors with panelled reveals and a traceried fanlight at No 20. All entrances are accessed by steps with original interlace railings, and there is mixed glazing in the basement.
