Description
Lynwood is a three-storey building with an attic and basement. It features four sash windows and is finished in stucco with a dentil and modillion cornice, topped by a slate roof. Each former house has two gabled dormers that contain round-headed sash windows. On the second floor, to the left, there is a paired sash window with a cornice and a central column, while to the right, a tripartite sash window has similar detailing. On the first floor, to the left, there is a round-headed window beneath a deep pediment supported by brackets and columns, with a balustrade below. Steps with iron railings lead up to a doorway that has modern half-glazed doors. The building also has 20th-century open porches with pediments. To the right, there is a two-storey bow window with three lights, featuring Doric pilasters, with arched windows on the first floor and square-headed windows on the ground floor. A 20th-century dwarf wall encloses the basement area.
