Description

This is a late 19th-century cast iron lamp standard, resembling those found on the Promenade. It features a tubular shaft and a lamp holder that has cresting and a finial, supported on two sides by slender curved brackets that rise from the top of the shaft. The circular base is ornately decorated with bead and cable mouldings, as well as foliage motifs.
