Description

This is a late 19th-century cast-iron lamp standard, resembling those found on the Promenade and in Mostyn Street. It features a plain octagonal base and a tall restored lamp-holder shaft. The lamp-holder has a flat base and a finial, supported by slender curved brackets that rise from above the top of the shaft.
