Description

This is a cast-iron lamp standard that resembles those found on the Promenade and in Mostyn Street. It features a restored circular shaft and lamp socket plates adorned with cresting and finials. The lamp standard is supported on two sides by slender iron brackets that rise from above the shafts. The circular moulded base is ornately decorated with bead and cable moulding, as well as foliate motifs.
