Description
9 St George's Place is a block of shops with offices above, built in the Free Renaissance style. It stands four storeys tall, plus an attic, and features a five-bay rusticated front with painted render. At the attic level, there are three large dormers with segmented heads, decorative relief, and tripartite sash windows. Between these dormers are smaller gabled dormers flanked by pinnacles. A cornice with a relief frieze runs along the top.
On the third floor, tripartite sash windows alternate with single sash windows. The second floor has a similar arrangement, with broad camber-headed tripartite sash windows alternating with round-headed sash windows. The first floor features canted bay windows in the first, third, and fifth bays, along with doorways leading to a flat roof verandah. The verandah is supported by cast iron columns and has railings at the upper level. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 7, 8, and 9 St George's Place in Llandudno.
