Description

Burton's is a corner building that stands four storeys high and also includes No 6 St George's Place. It is constructed of stucco and designed in a classical style. The building features one bay facing Mostyn Street and a convex corner bay, with four windows on St George's Place. A parapet with the inscription "Burton" and a cornice adorn the top. The upper storeys are highlighted by a giant order of Doric pilasters. The top floor has rectangular four-pane sash windows, while the second floor features windows with alternating segmental and triangular pediments, also with four-pane sash glazing. The first floor windows are topped with cornices on brackets. The ground floors have modern shopfronts.
