Description
2 St George's Place is part of a group of buildings at Nos 1-3 St George's Place in Llandudno. The elevation facing Mostyn Street is four storeys high with an attic and features three windows. The building is rendered and has a slate roof that is hipped to the left, with three gabled dormers topped with finials and fitted with sash glazing. It has a bracketed cornice, quoins, and string courses. The third-floor windows are framed with quoined architraves and have horned sash glazing. The second-floor windows have cambered heads and are flanked by pilasters, also with sash glazing. On the first floor, the outer bays feature splayed bay windows with sash glazing, while the central section has paired sash windows. The first bay in St George's Place mirrors this but has paired sashes on the second floor. To the left, there is a slightly set-back, lower two-window block that is also four storeys tall, with sash glazing; the top-floor windows have quoined architraves, while the others are similar but have cornices. The ground floor has modern shopfronts and a verandah supported by slender iron columns with capitals and bases.
