Description
The Queen's Lodge Hotel is a three-storey building with an attic and basement. It features two windows with sash glazing and is finished in stucco, topped with a dentil and modillion cornice and a slate roof. The building has two gabled dormers, each with round-headed sash windows. On the second floor, to the left, there is a paired sash window with a cornice and a central column, while to the right, there is a tripartite sash window with similar detailing.
On the first floor, to the left, there is a round-headed window set under a deep pediment supported by brackets and columns, with a balustrade below. Steps with iron railings lead up to a modern doorway. To the right, there is a two-storey bow window with three lights, featuring Doric pilasters; the windows are arched on the first floor and square-headed on the ground floor. The basement area is enclosed by a balustraded wall.
