Devon Terrace

Devon Terrace is a terrace of four houses built in the 19th century, featuring two storeys plus a basement. The exterior is finished in stucco with a slate roof and rectangular rendered chimneys. Notably, No 1 has inappropriate modern glazing.

The terrace is topped with a parapet above a dentil cornice, and each house has three windows separated from its neighbours by pilasters. Each house includes a narrow recessed central bay with balusters on the parapet, a narrow sash window with marginal glazing on the first floor, and outer bays that also have sash windows with marginal glazing. On the ground floor, steps with balusters (missing at No 1) lead up to a recessed porch, while Nos 2 and 4 feature flanking pillars, which have been removed from Nos 1 and 3. The ground floor and basement are highlighted by splayed bay windows, primarily featuring small pane sash glazing.
