Description
Devon Terrace is a terrace of four houses built in the 19th century, featuring two storeys plus a basement. The exterior is finished in stucco with a slate roof and rectangular rendered chimneys. Notably, No 1 has inappropriate modern glazing.
The terrace includes a parapet above a dentil cornice, with each house having three windows separated from the others by pilasters. Each house features a narrow recessed central bay, which has balusters on the parapet. The first floor has a narrow sash window with marginal glazing, while the outer bays contain sash windows also with marginal glazing. On the ground floor, steps with balusters lead up to a recessed porch; however, the balusters are missing at No 1. The porches for Nos 2 and 4 have flanking pillars, which have been removed from Nos 1 and 3. The ground floor and basement include a splayed bay window, primarily featuring small pane sash glazing.
