Description

5 Cwmdonkin Drive is a pair of semi-detached houses dating from the early 20th century. They are two storeys high with pebbledash elevations, while the first floor at the front is tile-hung. The houses have a hipped slate roof with a central red brick chimney. Each house features a bracketed tile-hung gable above a two-storey splayed bay window. Number 5 has segmentally-headed horned sash windows, with small panes in the upper sashes and larger panes in the lower sashes. In contrast, number 6 has inappropriate replacement glazing. The entrances are located at the sides, with a later flat-roofed porch for number 5 and a later lean-to porch for number 6. There are two windows on the first floor. At the rear, there are long wings with first floor splayed oriel windows at the gabled ends. Number 6 is included for its group value.
