York Place Baptist Chapel Hall

York Place Baptist Chapel Hall is a two-storey building featuring a symmetrical stucco front with advanced outer bays and a later lean-to porch. The hipped slate roof has bracket eaves, and the first floor is adorned with painted quoins and four arched windows that have 2-light traceried heads. A fine relocated pedimented doorcase with Ionic half-columns and a lettered frieze is present, along with a hoodmould featuring a keyblock above the arched doorway, which has double doors. The outer bays have segmental-headed windows situated between pilasters, while the side elevations are plain rendered with arched window heads. To the right, there is a later gabled hall block that is set back, and a school room range is located at the rear. Inside, the chapel features a four-bay galleried interior.
