Description
The brick sheds of the former Usk Vale Mill date from the 19th century and consist of five unequal bays facing a yard to the north. The buildings are constructed of brick and topped with corrugated iron roofs, although the second bay from the left end has a partially collapsed roof. The right bay on the west side is wider, while the two bays to the left on the east side feature asymmetrical gables. The right end bay has a sliding boarded door, and to the left of this bay is one with a wide opening and a boarded gable. The central bay also has a boarded gable, and to its left is a short link to the two left bays, which each have double boarded doors beneath wooden lintels. The left end bay includes a pivoting window above the doorway and a small lean-to with a boarded door in the left side wall. The rear of the sheds is obscured by vegetation. The buildings were not inspected at the time of the survey in February 1998.
