Description

White Hall is a gabled, two-storey house with a main range and a shorter, parallel wing that projects forward to the left. The exterior walls are pebble-dashed, and the roof is slate-covered, with chimney stacks positioned on the right and left sides. The front facade, which is three bays wide, features twelve-pane hornless sash windows set within segmental-headed surrounds. A half-glazed door is situated in the centre, recessed within a later porch. A central, single-storey lean-to projects from the rear of the building. Above and to the left of this lean-to are sash windows matching those on the front. To the right of the rear elevation are a pair of French doors set within a round-headed doorway, positioned beneath a round-headed stair light featuring radial glazing. The projecting wing has twelve-pane sash windows in its gable end facing the entrance, and a similar sash in the opposite gable end above an added lean-to extension. A conservatory has been added against the left gable end of the main house, set behind the wing. The building was not inspected at the time of the survey in December 1997.
