Description

Nos. 5 and 6 Castle Street are a pair of shops with living space above, built in the 19th century. The building is three stories high and features a two-window front that is cement rendered, with a decorative band at the eaves, pilasters, and a plinth. On the second floor, there are two 9-pane sash windows, while the first floor has two 12-pane hornless sash windows.

The ground floor of No. 5 has a restored 19th-century shopfront, which includes a doorway on the left and a display window on the right. This display window is framed by pilasters, a fascia board, and a cornice.
