Description

Nos 23 and 23a Castle Street is a three-storey building featuring a six-window stucco front. It has a higher eaves level compared to the adjacent No 22 Castle Street. The facade includes bands at the eaves and at the second and first floor levels, with pilaster strips at the ends.

Number 23a has windows with slightly cambered heads, consisting of four small 2-light casements on the second floor and four 12-pane sash windows on the first floor. The ground floor features an early 20th-century shopfront with doorways paired to the center, framed by pilasters, a fascia, and a cornice.
