Description
This building, located at Nos. 9, 10, and 11 Castle Street, is a shop with accommodation above and to the rear. It dates from the 18th century and features two storeys with gabled attics, all rendered. The front has two windows and a pair of half-timbered gabled attics, each with a sash window. On the first floor, there are two canted oriel windows with sash glazing that includes small panes in the upper sashes. The ground floor has a shop front with a shop door that is recessed to the right of the display window, which has a curved corner and some stained glass in the upper lights. To the right of the shop front is a four-panelled door with an overlight, all framed by Doric pilasters, a fascia, and a cornice. To the right of the shop front is another sash window, and to the left is another four-panelled door with an overlight.
