Description
Nos. 9, 10, and 11 Castle Street, excluding the rear block of No. 9 in Chapel Street, is a shop with accommodation above and at the rear. The building has two storeys and gabled attics, and is rendered. It features a two-window front with a pair of half-timbered gabled attics, each containing a sash window. On the first floor, there are two canted oriel windows with sash glazing that has small panes in the upper sashes. The ground floor includes a shop front with a shop door that is recessed to the right of the display window, which has a curved corner and some stained glass in the upper lights. To the right of the shop front is a four-panelled door with an overlight, all framed by Doric pilasters, a fascia, and a cornice. To the right of the shop front, there is a sash window, and to the left, another four-panelled door with an overlight.
