Description
Russell, Baldwin & Bright is a three-storey building featuring a four-window front made of coursed rubble, complete with a plinth. It has a slate roof, narrow boarded eaves, and red brick chimney stacks. The sash windows do not have glazing bars, and the left-hand windows are slightly offset. The ground and first-floor windows are topped with lintels that have weathered keystones. A broad bracket hood covers a six-panel door that has panelled reveals.
The left gable end is made of rubble and has a one-storey and attic rubble outbuilding attached to the left, which dog-legs to the rear. Additional outbuildings are located at the rear, featuring a boarded gable, and there is a rubble screen wall that encloses a service courtyard with double boarded gates. At the right rear, there is a gabled cross range with cusped bargeboards and sash windows that have marginal glazing bars. The left rear has some brick facing and a lean-to extension with a rubble chimney stack that has been heightened twice in brick.
