Description

Inglenook is a Georgian building that is symmetrical and consists of three storeys plus a basement. It features a broad front with one window on each side of a paired entrance located at the centre. The exterior is made of coursed squared rubble with a bull-nosed plinth, topped with slate roofs, boarded eaves, and banded end brick chimney stacks. The front has small pane sash windows, with voussoir lintels on the first and ground floors that include keystones. There are broad bracket hoods over pilastered doorcases, with panelled reveals and six-panel doors that are partially glazed. The entrance is accessed by railed front steps, and there are casement windows in the basement, which are barred on the left side.

At the rear, there are both sash and modern windows, along with a gabled brick cross range.
