Description

Webb's Yard Warehouse is a building likely dating from the 17th century, and it was constructed around the same time as the nearby farm. It features tall rubble walls and a steeply pitched corrugated roof. A brick base was added to the northern end to support the town siren before the Fire Station was established. The entrance is currently located from the yard, beneath a lean-to hood, with a timber-framed window to the left. There is a blocked entrance on the front gable end.

Inside, the warehouse retains its 17th-century construction elements, including a ridge beam and lapped purlins, with part of the northern end being floored.
