Description
Telford House is a late 17th century, two-storey, four-bay warehouse located on Harbour Street in Portmahomack. The building features harled pointed rubble with ashlar dressings. The ground floor includes two doors and six small square windows, along with two rectangular vents at the wallhead. At the south gable, there are two large buttresses, and a forestair leads to the first floor entrance at the north gable, which is shared with the northern warehouse. The rear has small vents cut in single blocks of stone. The building has crowstepped gables, cavetto skewputts, a slate roof, and a stone ridge.
Inside, there is an open timber roof with pegged collar rafters, and the sole plates and ashlar posts are intact at the wallhead.
