It features long elevations on the north and south sides, with a forestair at the west gable providing access to an off-centre entrance on the first floor. The building is constructed from mixed granite rubble with tooled granite dressings. There are two entrances on the south elevation, with the eastern entrance featuring a composite keystoned lintel. The first and second storeys of the south elevation are adorned with regular small shuttered windows. The roof is shallow piended and covered with local slate.
