Description

8 High Street in Rothes is a mid to late 19th-century, two-storey terrace consisting of three four-bay dwellings, originally designed as paired units, and is continuous with number 6 High Street. The building features a mix of granite rubble with tooled sandstone ashlar dressings.

Number 8 has a single doorway and three ground floor windows, while numbers 10, 12, and 14 each have paired centre doors. Each block has three regular windows on the first floor. A tooled ashlar lintel and bandcourse connects the ground floor openings, and the windows are fitted with 12-pane glazing. The building has coped end and ridge stacks, topped with slate roofs.
