Description
67 New Street in Rothes is a single-storey, three-bay cottage built in the later 18th century. Originally, it consisted of two separate two-bay dwellings. The structure is made of rubble with contrasting painted ashlar granite margins and dressings. It features an off-centre, re-used 18th-century doorpiece with lugged and keystoned details, and has 12-pane glazing. There are end stacks, and the roof is covered with asbestos tiles, which replaced the earlier thatch.
