Description
18 North Castle Street in Cullen is a single-storey, four-bay cottage built between 1820 and 1830. Originally, it was two separate two-bay dwellings. The exterior features heavily pointed rubble with contrasting painted ashlar margins. The entrance is off-centre and includes a double-leaf door. There is a small gable window on the south gable, and the windows have 12-pane glazing. The cottage has end stacks and a modern pantiled roof, which includes a slate easing course and modern loft roof lights.
At the rear, there is a substantial two-storey rubble building that is linked to the cottage, which is likely a former fishing store.
