Description
Sanfield is a two-storey and attic house built in 1806, with repairs and additions made in 1840 and further alterations and repairs in 1864. The house has three bays and a rear wing. It is harled with painted ashlar margins. The centre features a projecting gabled porch with a fanlight above the front door, which also has a fanlight. To the right, there is a canted bay window that rises to full height. The building includes a band course, two piended dormers with original six-pane glazing, and two and four-pane glazing in other areas. It has corniced stacks and a slate roof. A high rubble garden wall encloses the house and garden.
