Description
Tarbat Lodge, located on Harbour Street in Portmahomack, is a building from the later 18th century. It is two storeys high and has three bays, with a later addition of a single bay that is also two storeys, situated on the south gable. The exterior features harled walls with painted ashlar margins. A modern glazed porch covers the central door and the right bay, which has also been converted into a door. There are small windows on the second floor, and the building has modern glazing throughout. It has corniced stacks at the ends and a slate roof.
