Description

The granary at Upper House Farm comprises two distinct parts. To the left is a single-storey rubble pigsty with four openings set behind a whitewashed rubble wall featuring boarded doors. It has an undulating roof of stone tiles, in a lean-to style.

To the right is a taller, single-storey building with an attic, built of whitewashed rubble at the front, with a rubble rear and a slate roof, partially corrugated on the rear pitch. The building has overhanging eaves to the front. A gabled entry is located on the left side and is accessed by external rubble steps. It features pivot windows and a boarded door, along with a broad opening leading to the rear. The roof has been raised to the left rear, incorporating a lean-to extension.

The interior retains original roof construction, including dowelled timbers and tenoned purlins.
