Description

23 St Catherine Street is a terraced cottage, part of a mirrored pair with No 24 to the right. This one and a half storey house features stucco rendering with a raised stucco plinth, an imitation slate gabled roof, and a large rendered square ridge stack positioned centrally for the pair of cottages. The front has a one-window range with a renewed 4-pane horned timber sash window at the centre of the ground floor, which has a stone sill. To the left, there is a boarded timber door with a narrow rectangular overlight above it. The central attic dormer has a small 4-pane horned timber sash window, a pitched slate roof, slate-hung sides, a boarded timber gable, and a plain timber bargeboard. The eaves board is similar, and there are renewed rainwater goods and a downpipe at the left angle.

The interior has not been inspected but is believed to have been modernised since 1991. Previous listings mentioned ledged doors.
