Description

Cilrhiw is a cottage, one of a pair of mirrored houses rendered in painted stucco. It has a close-eaved roof simulating slate tiles and red brick end stacks. The two storeys of each house feature a one-window range of four-pane sash windows in the outer bay, alongside an arched doorway in the inner bay. The doorways are closely paired and have roll-moulded angles, with 20th-century recessed doors within. Sill bands and stucco surrounds, shouldered to the windows on both floors, are present. A raised plinth completes the design. The building is of group value, contributing to the character of the area.
