Description

Gumfreston Cottage is a terraced house dating from the 20th century. It features painted stucco and an imitation slate close-eaved roof with a brick stack at the right end. The building is two storeys high and double fronted, with 4-pane sash windows on both the first floor and the ground floor to the right. There is a central square-headed doorway that is accessed by four steps and has a 20th-century door. To the right, there is a basement light, and to the left, there is a large throughway entry with a flat head and shouldered left jamb, which is fitted with timber double doors. The left end wall is finished in unpainted roughcast.
