Description
Maesyberllan is a house and former forge, constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and featuring slate roofs with close eaves and stone end stacks that have dripstones. The house is two stories high and has a three-window range, with horned six-pane sash windows and a central stable-type door. The upper windows are positioned under the eaves, while the lower openings have stone voussoirs and stone sills. At the rear, there are four modern casement windows.
The former forge, which is attached to the right of the house, is lower in height and has a cambered-headed door on the left and a part-blocked door in the center. The end wall of the forge is also made of rubble stone. Inside, the house is now open plan and includes a fireplace with an iron range. The former forge features a two-bay roof with a bolted collar to the tie-beam truss.
