Description

This is a two-storey detached Gothic villa, built with painted roughcast. The facade is symmetrical with three bays, featuring corner pilaster strips, a plinth, and a sill band at the first floor. The roof is hipped, close-eaved, and covered with slate, with two red brick chimney stacks from around 1910 at each end. The windows are pointed recessed Gothic sashes with intersecting glazing bars, larger on the ground floor. There is a central gabled timber porch supported by dwarf walls, with pierced sides designed in a fretwork Gothic style and a slated roof. The porch includes a pointed panelled timber door with simple Gothic panels at the pointed head. The south end of the villa has a small pointed recessed window on the ground floor, while the north wall is blank. There is a modern extension at the rear.
