Description

This is a cast iron water pump featuring a fluted cylindrical upper section topped with a fluted rounded cap and a pointed finial. It has a long cast-iron handle attached to the upper part, which includes a fluted oval handle. The shaft is divided into three sections by rings, with the upper section showcasing a decorated spout that has a small, scrolled crest and long, thin foliate decoration at the joint. There is also a small plaque near the joint displaying a lion rampant and the words 'Made in England'.
