Description

Ger-y-Parc is an end-terrace house that dates back to the 19th century. It features a colourwashed roughcast exterior and a slate close-eaved roof, with a rebuilt red brick chimney stack on the left and a larger stuccoed stack on the right. The house has three storeys and a three-window range. The upper floor is fitted with 4-pane sash windows, while the first floor has 16-pane sash windows.

On the ground floor, there is an arched-headed sash window that is four panes wide, flanked by radiating glazing bars, alongside a central arched doorway. This doorway is similar to those found on Nos 13-17 and is adorned with an open pediment supported by brackets, reeded half columns, and entablature blocks. The reveals are fielded panelled, and there is a fanlight with radiating tracery above a six-panel door, which has the top four panels fielded. Access to the door is via four steps. The window openings have plain stucco surrounds. At the rear, there are 9-pane attic windows on each side, with 12-pane windows on each floor below, and a door with intermediate stair lights located to the left of centre.

The front garden is enclosed by a dwarf grey limestone wall and iron railings, which feature uprights and scrolled arrow-headed finials similar to those on Nos 13-14. The railings include dog bars and standards with urn finials, and there are paired gates designed in a similar style, with top rails that sweep up to the centre. The garden sides also have similar railings.

Inside, the hall has a reeded ceiling border and an acanthus rose within an eight-petal surround. There is an inner arch with a fanlight over the opening, supported by panelled piers. The house features 20th-century six-panel doors. The staircase includes stick balusters, three per tread, with scrolled tread ends and a continuous ramped rail that does not have newels. The property also has a cellar.
